Effective date: October 1, 2026. This policy explains how Lab7 Software uses cookies and similar storage technologies in the MealWise application.
1. What we use
- Essential storage (required): keeps you signed in and remembers your session. The Service cannot function without it.
- Preference storage (functional): remembers settings like your theme, units, and display choices so the app feels the same each visit.
- Analytics (opt-in only): if you enable product analytics, anonymous usage information helps us improve the app. It is off unless you turn it on, and you can turn it off at any time in Settings → Privacy & Data.
2. What we never use
We do not use advertising cookies, cross-site tracking cookies, or third-party marketing trackers of any kind. We do not sell data, and no advertiser receives information about you from us.
3. Your controls
You can clear cookies and site storage through your browser or device settings at any time. Clearing essential storage will sign you out. Optional analytics can be toggled in the app under Settings → Privacy & Data.
4. Changes and contact
We may update this policy as the Service evolves; the effective date above reflects the latest version.
